How Garment Remodelling Works

Every project starts with an inspection of the garment, its fabric, and its construction. That review helps define what can be adjusted, what can be reused, and where the material may set clear limits on the final result.

If the piece is suitable for redesign, we move into a concept review and scope discussion. This stage is where the shape, fit, and possible finishes are agreed before work begins, along with a quote based on the garment's condition and design requirements.

From careful assessment to final fitting, every step is shaped by the garment you already own.

StitchCraft turns worn, vintage, or sentimental pieces into fresh wardrobe favourites through practical redesign and upcycling.

Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. We also handle garments with personal value, where preserving useful parts of the original piece matters as much as the new design.

Because each garment is different, the result depends on seam allowances, fabric strength, and available materials. Additional work is only carried out after approval, and any supplementary materials are quoted separately when needed.
