How We Remodel Garments
We begin with a project inquiry and a careful assessment of the garment and its materials. This helps us understand what can be adjusted, reused, or reshaped before any quote is prepared.
If the piece is suitable for redesign, we move into a consultation to discuss the concept, scope, and practical limits of the fabric. A final quote is only given after this review, so expectations stay clear from the start.
From first review to final fitting, every step is shaped by the garment itself.
StitchCraft creates remodelling and alteration plans that respect fabric, construction, and wear history.
Our work includes dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. Each project is approved before additional work begins, and any supplementary materials are quoted separately when needed.
After the remodelling is complete, we review the fit or finish before collection. This process supports realistic results while keeping the original garment's structure and condition at the center of the work.
